Nose Filler

What is Nose Filler?

Nasal filling is a cosmetic procedure that corrects some deformities or undesirable appearances in the shape of the nose. In this procedure, special fillers (usually hyaluronic acid) are used and injected under the skin of the nose. Nasal filling is a non-surgical procedure and does not require surgical intervention. It is generally a painless procedure, general anesthesia is not required and the results can be seen immediately. However, nose filling is a temporary procedure and the results may fade over time. Since nose filling is not a surgical procedure, the risk of complications is lower.

What is Nose Tip Filler?

Nasal tip filling is a technique used to improve the appearance of the tip of the nose. During this procedure, filling material is injected under the skin at the tip of the nose. As a result, a more lifted appearance at the tip of the nose can be achieved.

In Which Situations Can Nasal Filling Be Applied?

Nasal filling can be applied to correct certain nasal disorders and improve undesirable appearances. Here are some conditions that can be corrected with nose filling:

  • Nasal Arch Collapse: Nasal filler can be used for people with depressions or disorders on the upper part of the nose.
  • Nasal Asymmetry: The nose may be naturally asymmetrical and nose filling can be applied to correct this asymmetry.
  • Drooping Nose Tip: People with drooping nose tip can have nose fillers to lift the nose tip and get a more lifted appearance.
  • Indentations on the Nose: Small indentations or defects on the nose can be hidden with nose filler.
  • Improvement After Surgical Rhinoplasty: Nasal filler can be used to correct minor defects that occur after a previous surgical rhinoplasty (nose aesthetics).

What Should Be Considered After Nose Filling?

Some points to consider after nose filling may be:

  • Touching the nose should be avoided after the procedure.
  • Heavy physical activities and sports should be avoided for a while.
  • Hot showers and hot baths should be avoided.
