Jawline Filler

What is Jawline Filler?

Jawline filling is an aesthetic procedure performed to make the jaw line more prominent and defined. During this process, hyaluronic acid or other suitable fillers are used. These fillers are used to define the jawline, shape facial contours, and correct sagging or laxity around the chin. Jawline filler allows the chin area in the lower part of the face to gain a more prominent and sharp appearance.

In Which Situations Is Jawline Filling Applied?

Jawline chin filler is applied to restore a chin that has lost its shape, to balance facial lines and to achieve a healthy appearance. This tissue supports the formation of an ideal facial line and provides proportion to the face. Chin filler can be applied in the following cases: Sagging in the chin area, The chin being flat and very pointed, The chin area appearing asymmetrical and unclear, The tip of the chin being located behind, The presence of dimples on the chin. Chin filler can be used to correct the facial contour and create a symmetrical appearance. In cases of aesthetic disorders, after the problem is determined, the correct treatment can be removed and filling can be applied.

How is Jawline Filling Done?

Jawline filling may include these steps:

  • Examination and Planning: Before the procedure, the patient’s face is examined by a specialist and it is planned how the jaw line should be shaped.
  • Cleaning and Anesthesia: The procedure area is cleaned and local anesthesia can be applied. Anesthesia helps minimize any pain or discomfort during the procedure.
  • Dermal Filler Injection: A suitable filling material is injected into the jaw line with a thin needle or cannula. These injections fill in the jaw lines, providing a more defined appearance.
  • Termination and Recovery: The procedure ends, and the patient can return to normal daily activities. Slight swelling, redness or bruising may occur in the first few days, but this usually disappears within a short time.

How Long Is The Permanence Of Jawline Filling?

The permanence of Jawline filling may vary depending on the type and amount of filler used and the person’s metabolism. Generally, results can last for 6 to 18 months. However, this period may vary from person to person. When the effects begin to diminish after a certain period of time, a jawline filling application may be required again.
